Payment & Cancellation Policy
Booking Directly With Us
- A 25% deposit is due at the time of booking; the balance is due 14 days prior to arrival
- Reservations made within 14 days of arrival require payment in full
- Cancellations with more than 15 days notice: full refund less a $30 cancellation fee
- Cancellations with 14 days or less notice: non-refundable
- Covid-19 and other illnesses are not grounds for a refund or exception
Third-Party Bookings (Expedia, Booking.com, etc.)
Please review the cancellation and prepayment policy you agreed to at the time of booking — third-party policies may differ from ours.
Reservation Date Changes
- We may accommodate a one-time date change with more than 15 days notice
- Additional charges may apply as rates fluctuate throughout the season
- Reservations within 14 days of arrival cannot be modified
- Once a reservation date has been changed it becomes non-refundable
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events such as illness or weather.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in is available beginning at 4:00 PM (3:00 PM for guests who paid for early check-in)
- Self check-in instructions and door codes are sent via text and email on the day of arrival
- Check-out is 10:00 AM
Occupancy
- Maximum occupancy is 2 guests per room, except in Two-Bedroom Suites (up to 4 guests)
- Children and infants are counted as guests/occupants
- Exceeding maximum occupancy is grounds for immediate termination of your reservation without refund, or a fee of $50 per additional guest per night
- The pool, property, facilities, and amenities are for registered guests only — day visitors are not permitted
Children
- Children must not play on the grounds or in the pool area unattended
- Children must not play in the driveway or parking area
- Cribs and baby equipment are not available on site — we can provide referrals for local rental services
- Children and infants are counted as occupants toward the room maximum
Housekeeping
- In consideration of your privacy, we do not enter your room during your stay — daily housekeeping is not included
- Mid-stay clean is available on the 4th day of your stay for $40 — must be requested at booking or at least 48 hours in advance
- Fresh towels and supplies are available upon request
Pool
The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. All guests must agree to the following safety rules:
- No lifeguard on duty — swim at your own risk
- Children under 15 may only swim when an adult is present and maintaining constant supervision
- No pets in the pool area
- No roughhousing, dunking, pushing, wrestling, or diving
- Keep the area clear of clutter, debris, and small toys — no glass in the pool area
- No swimming after dark, in rainy weather, or during thunderstorms
- No eating, drinking, or chewing gum while in the pool
- Keep pool gates closed and locked at all times
Pets
- Pets are not permitted in 2nd floor King Guest Rooms — if a pet is found in these rooms, your reservation will be immediately terminated without refund
- Three ground-floor suites are pet-friendly; breed restrictions apply and prior approval is required
- One-time pet fee: $100 for 1 pet · $200 for 2 pets
- Maximum 2 pets per suite
- Proof of current Rabies vaccine required at check-in

Grills
- Propane gas grills are provided for guest enjoyment — propane is supplied
- Turn off all gas knobs after each use and ensure all flames are fully extinguished
- Keep all grill areas clean and safe
Kitchen Appliances
Each room has a specific amperage allotment for its kitchen. We have carefully selected energy-efficient appliances to ensure proper function within that capacity.
Septic & Well Use
- This property runs on a septic system — water is drawn from a well
- Please notify us immediately if any toilets are running, faucets are dripping, or an alarm sounds
- Only flush septic-safe toilet paper — "flushable" wipes and other products damage the system and must not be flushed
- A lined waste basket is provided for disposal of non-flushable items
Lost Items
- Please check for personal belongings before departing
- Found items can be returned upon request — a shipping fee applies
- Unclaimed items will be disposed of 30 days after the guest's departure date
Hurricane & Storm Policy
- If a mandatory evacuation order is issued by public officials for our specific area, you will receive a full refund for the nights the evacuation order is in place
- Other weather-related situations — canceled flights, blocked roads, and similar events — are not grounds for a refund
We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against weather-related cancellations.
Maintenance
Every effort is made to keep each unit and its equipment in good working order. Please notify us of any maintenance problems as soon as possible so repairs can be scheduled promptly. Refunds are not given for minor mechanical problems.
Indemnification
The guest(s) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Seagrove Suites & Guest Rooms and its employees from any liabilities, loss, or damages arising from, related to, or in connection with the rental of the premises. This includes any claim for personal injury, property damage, or loss sustained by the guest, guest of a guest, pet(s), or any occupant. Pet owners are solely responsible for the actions of their pets.
